The Full Story

In Adam’s own words,

“I started with nothing but the enormous good fortune of being born in Australia”.

Here’s his journey since then.

Learning early…

Adam started studying financially successful people early in life and noticed two consistent themes of how they got there.

  1. They worked for themselves

  2. They invested in real estate

At age 21, Adam started selling personal development courses for an American company using local newspapers to generate leads, a pager to take his calls (because he had a day job at that time), and weekly meetings at his home. For perspective, this was around the time that email was just becoming something

that ordinary people started to use.

By age 23, Adam was making a multi-six-figure income. Back in the 90s, that was a lot of money for a young guy with no University education.

Earning the first $10 Million…

At age 34, Adam took one of his companies public and became a deca-millionaire for the first time, at least on paper. Months after the IPO, the 2008 financial crisis happened and his company almost collapsed. His shares in the company were almost worthless and he fire-sold what assets he had outside of the stock to fund the business through a very difficult 2 years.

As all entrepreneurs do, to keep the lights on at home during this period, Adam started a new business on the side selling a text-message-based marketing service to small businesses door to door.

After two very tough years, the company recovered a little and Adam sold his shares giving him enough capital to move to Los Angeles for a fresh start.

Moving to America…

In 2011, Adam started an animation company in Hollywood, with no animation experience. As crazy as it sounds, within 2 years Adam secured around 20 of America’s largest brands as clients, including Canon, MasterCard, Volvo, The World Bank, McDonald’s, Unicef, and many others. This business generated millions of dollars between 2011 and 2015 when he sold it to move back to Australia.

From $0 to $75,000,000 in 5 years…

While in America, Adam learned to sell products on Amazon, which soon grew into a global business selling his brands in 33 countries.

In 2016, Adam started teaching others how to sell on Amazon, and by 2020, his course became one of the largest in the world generating $75,000,000 in course and coaching revenue.

Adam puts the success of this business down to two key things:

  1. He was successfully selling on Amazon for 5 years before he started teaching it.

  2. His students were successful too. In fact, to date, Adam’s students have generated nearly $3 Billion dollars in sales on Amazon, all verified by ZonGuru.com the analytics software that almost all of his students use to run their business. Adam is the creator of that software too, although today it is run by a CEO out of Los Angeles and has venture backing.

This business became famous for its remarkable live events which were only open to students who had bought online programs or were in personal coaching programs.

Towards the end, these 3-day events were attended by 2,500 students at a time with multi-million-dollar event budgets, and some of Australia’s most famous business people, sports identities, and political leaders in attendance.

It was during this time that Adam was invited to speak on stage with industry icons like Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuk, and many others.

Real Estate Investing

Throughout all of this time, Adam was an active real estate investor, primarily in the commercial property sector. Over the years, Adam has made millions of dollars from buying and optimising industrial buildings.

Two of his most recent transactions were featured in the Australian business press showing almost 100% gains in under 5 years from commercial buildings he had acquired in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast during Covid.

What’s next?

After three decades at the coal face of small business, and half a decade on the planet, Adam is dedicating the rest of his career primarily to coaching.

He loves people but is known for his very direct, no-fluff approach to accountability and calling it as it is.

He lives on the Gold Coast of Australia with his wife Cass, and they have a non-profit that takes people to Indonesia to experience the gift of giving eye-sight to the blind. Over the years they've raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to this cause which has directly resulted in thousands of blind people being healed.
